Hidden love follows the story of sang zhi as she navigates through the ups and downs of first love with an older guy duan jiaxu, her brothers best friend.

SYNOPSIS
Sang zhi meets duan jiaxu for the first time when she returns home from school and barges into her brother's room without knocking only to find a strange yet handsome boy in the room instead of her brother. Being captivated by his looks, she didn't even realize when she asked him if he got plastic surgery, then her brother walks in and there was a little bit of bickering between the two siblings which happens quite often in the movie. From then on sang zhi developed a fondness for duan jiaxu which later turned into a crush then love. Well I don't blame her, he is really handsome

Sang zhi keeps her feelings for duan jiaxu hidden as she was aware he saw her only as a younger sister ( she was his best friend younger sister). When her brother sang Yan informs sang zhi that duan jiaxu had started dating someone she books a flight all the way to the city duan jiaxu was living in just to confirm if he really was dating someone even though she was still a minor( it's either she really has balls or she likes him too much). She cried her heart out when she found out it was true. she discovered later in the series that it was a misunderstanding.
It took a while before duan jiaxu finally developed feelings for sang zhi despite their age Gap which she was afraid would be an issue for him since she was like a sister to him from the moment they met

She was fourteen while he was nineteen when she met and developed feelings for duan jiaxu. There were both sweet and sad moments in their relationship which sang zhi was willing to stand by his side all the way (she had feeling for the guy, she wasn't just gonna give up that easily). The movie ends with her graduating from college and him proposing to her. It was magical like that.....😍🥰i love love.

MY OPINION
I think it was a well written script and the production was well done even on a low budget. I have always personally preferred kdrama over cdrama when it comes to romance but this movie is on a whole different level. The casting was superb, I mean they are all a sight to look at and their acting was on point and don't get me started on the plot. This movie deserves a five star rating and if ur into this kind of movie or maybe ur looking for something new then this is the movie for you.
