Saturday was a pretty slow one with some productivity also playing my games of Splinterlands and watching another movie in the evening which was way too long.
Movie #10: Killers Of The Flower Moon (5.0/10)
The thing about movies like this is that I simply don't enjoy them. Sure the production and filming is very nicely done but I just found it extremely boring with an uninteresting plot having a 3.5 Hour runtime that is just stupidly long. I looked up against watching this one knowing it was soo long and now also feel that Scorsese is a highly overrated director. I get that some people like films like this but not me. I was distracted from the start as this film never managed to capture or intrigue me one bit but I finished it while being quite distracted. Out of politeness I give it a 5/10 but having to sit through a movie like this is just pure torture and I'm not sure why I didn't shut it down and put on something way better after 30 Minutes. Most likely the last Scorsese movie I watch.

Hi, I've never seen this movie, so I'm not up to giving a judgment either on the movie or on what you think of Martin Scorsese for those of us who each have our own preferences.
And on that we all agree!
But I also feel compelled to add that Martin Scorsese is a highly respected director and screenwriter, he has made some incredible films, " Goodfellas" "cab driver" "The aviator" "The departed" "The wolf of wall treet", "Hugo Cabret" are just some of the incredible masterpieces he has made and it is not my judgment, it is an expression of film criticism that has earned him the Oscar the Palme d'Or, the Golden Lion 3 BAFTA and 4 Golden Globes.
The least we can do is to recognize its merits;

I guess for me it's just personal taste, I've seen Cab Driver but expected way more and don't think I even finished it. The Departed I found highly overrated and The Wolf Of Wall street was fun but I mostly remember it from 1 scene that dragged on way too long.
Scorsese is just not for me I think but the majoraty seem to agree on his current status
I totally understand you!!! I do too, there are some directors that I force myself to reevaluate but they are not for me....
