Good morning, amazing people!

Let's go on a landscape tour of the Hoover Dam. These photos were taken not so long ago on a short weekend visit. Hoover Dam spans the Arizona-Nevada state line and is situated in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. It is roughly 35 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a concrete thick-arch structure behind the rocky mountains, and if you have a fear of heights, this will be a challenging spot for you. If you are from Vegas, the distance is approximately 37 miles, and the drive takes only about 45 minutes. It still depends on traffic conditions. Peak seasons like summer or Christmas would be a little more congested than normal days. Anyway, it was nearly fall season when these were taken. I am posting this as my entry to @photofeed's Landscape Photography Contest Round 49.
