Hace unos días la maestra de mi hija que estudia sexto grado de primaria, por el grupo de WhatsApp que ella maneja, le recomendó a todos los representantes esta película de animación que se encuentra en Netflix.
Ayer, estrenando en casa con mi familia está plataforma de streaming 🥳 fue en la primera película que se me ocurrió ver, además está de primera en la lista de favoritas en mi país. Así que fue la elegida y nos hemos llevado una sorpresa muy satisfactoria con esta película.
Una de las productoras además de Netflix es Happy Madison Productions, productora que nos tiene acostumbrados a las películas de comedia y a tener como actor principal a Adam Sandler, en este caso no es la excepción pues el personaje de Leo está a cargo de este actor y también es unos de los productores, confieso, que es uno de mis actores preferidos y no importa que digan que es malo, personalmente he disfrutado gratamente de muchas de sus películas.

En el aula de clases encontramos varios tipos de personalidades, tenemos a la maestra amorosa y motivadora, pero también a la gruñona o como se podría decir una maestra de la vieja escuela. En cuanto a los estudiantes al igual que en la vida real tenemos a los populares, los temerosos, los hijos mayores, hijos de padres divorciados, los sobreprotegidos y hasta el que hace bullying.
Leo y Squirtle con los años que tienen viendo pasar maestras y estudiantes por esa aula de clases ya son unos expertos para reconocer y hasta clasificar por su comportamiento a cada uno de ellos.
No quisiera hacer spoiler porque me gustaría que todos la pudieran ver. Es una excelente película que al igual que la maestra de mi hija recomiendo para toda la familia, tiene mensajes para todos sin perder la parte divertida de las situaciones.
En cuanto a la animación, no tengo nada malo que decir, la película es hermosa, a pesar de que Leo es un lagarto, es agradable a la vista, es como ver a un abuelo y para mí eso es, aunque también un maestro para la vida.

Cómo mencioné en esta película podemos encontrar un mensaje para todos los miembros de la familia, mi hijo aprendió que las personas entre más años tienen, más sabios son. Mi hija que hay varios tipos de maestros, aquellos que te enseñan con amor, se ganan tu aprecio y todos los niños los quieren y otros que son tan estrictos que ocasionan que los estudiantes se bloqueen y matan la creatividad en el aula de clases. Por mi parte aprendí que hay todo tipo de padres y en muchos casos somos nosotros los que ocasionamos los problemas en nuestros hijos.
Se que todos los niños encontraran similitudes entre sus compañeros en el aula de clases y hasta se sentirán identificados con alguno de los personajes. Los padres pensaran en que estarán haciendo para que sus hijos sean felices y se desarrollen socialmente de manera adecuada, también en el comportamiento que en ocasiones tienen con las personas que cuidan y educan a nuestros hijos. En cuanto a los maestros, donde también me incluyo, nos hará pensar en nuestra práctica educativa, qué clase de maestro soy? Acompaño y apoyo a mi estudiante con sus problemas o solo me dedico a la parte académica, llenándolos de libros y teoría.

Para finalizar quisiera mencionar que Leo es un musical y aunque los musicales no son totalmente de mi agrado, en esta película no me molestó tanto ya que las canciones son cortas y con un mensaje concreto, puedo decir que cuando terminé de verla ya se me había olvidado que tenía canciones. Una película bastante divertida para los niños, me pareció un poco genérica la animación pero en términos generales está muy bien.
Si es divertida y lo de la animación pues me imagino que es porque no estamos hablando de una empresa productora de películas animadas como Disney, pero está bien, yo la disfruté mucho.
A mí me encantó siento que es una buena película para ver en familia sin nada de inclusión woke forzada, y con una gran enseñanza para la familia.
