Buen día amigos de Hive y de Movies & TV Shows, espero que estén pasando un día espectacular! Hoy les traigo esta reseña, de una película que en verdad me recomendó mi madre, y cuando ví quiénes actuaban, pues no dudé ni un solo instante en explorar de qué se trataba la historia.

The film tells two parallel stories: an American woman, Julia, who moves to France with her husband, for work reasons, but she is grateful because she loves France; and a girl who lives in the United States, who has an ordinary office job, her name is Julie.

These two women, although in very distant times and places, are somehow living similar stories, as they are both searching for their passion.

However, while Julia is absolutely optimistic about this uncertainty (also because her economic position allows her to be so); Julie is a little more upset with her life, as she doesn't quite know how to get out of where she is.

Julie had always admired Julia (I'll tell you why), and with the help of her boyfriend who suggests a similar idea, she decides to start a daily blog.

La película habla de dos historias en paralelo: una mujer estadounidense, Julia, que se muda a Francia con su marido, por cuestiones laborales, pero ella agradecida porque ama Francia; y una chica que viven en Estados Unidos, que tiene un trabajo común y corriente, de oficina, su nombre es Julie.

But she finds herself as an American who must learn French, and is surrounded by male chefs, because that was a time when women were not accepted in certain types of jobs.

Julie had been accessing one of Julia's cookbooks for years, whose story you'll see as you watch the movie, I won't tell you so as not to spoil what happens. And she decides that in that blog, what she will do, is to share one recipe per day.

Entre los intentos de Julia de descubrir qué la apasionaba, llega a la conclusión de que lo que quiere hacer, es cocinar, entonces, empieza a estudiar. Pero se encuentra siendo una estadounidense que debe aprender francés, y está rodeada de chefs de sexo masculino, pues aquella era una época en donde la mujer no se aceptaba en cierto tipo de trabajos.

Julie había accedido desde hacía años a uno de los libros de cocina de Julia, de quien verán su historia conforme vean la película, no se las contaré para no arruinarles lo que ocurre. Y decide que en ese blog, lo que hará, es compartir una receta por día.

Opinion

The film is exquisite. Not only is it an absolutely harmonious and high vibe production, but it also conveys a message of change. The production tells you that in the face of fear and uncertainty, the best thing you can do is to throw yourself into life, risk it all if necessary (such as quitting a job), and go for simply feeling good.

Meryl and Amy's performances are excellent, and although it's a very simple story, with no unexpected twists or suspense, they both shine playing just ordinary people going after a dream.

Opinión

La película es exquisita. No solamente se trata de una producción absolutamente armoniosa y de alta vibración, sino que además transmite un mensaje de cambio. La producción te dice que ante los temores y frente a esa incertidumbre, lo mejor que puedes hacer es lanzarte a la vida, arriesgarlo todo si es necesario (como es dejar un empleo), y apostar por sencillamente, sentirte bien.

La actuación de Meryl y Amy son excelentes, y aunque es una historia muy simple en verdad, sin giros inesperados o suspenso, ambas se lucen haciendo justamente de personas comunes y corrientes que van tras un sueño.

I consider this an excellent movie to watch, and it is for the whole family, but I would say that if you are in a process of transformation and change, it could be the perfect story for you.

There is also something in common in the film, between the story of Julia and Julie, and it is the partner of each of them, as they turn out to be pillars in their lives, and become the people who drive and accompany these women in their projects.

It is not that "the man" is the one who allows what happens, but I do believe that what this story is trying to get across is that it is always good to have a good companion by your side, who feeds your motivation and inspiration.

Considero que esta es una película excelente para ver, y es para toda la familia, pero diría que si estás en un proceso de transformación y cambio, podría ser la historia perfecta para vos.

Hay algo además, en común en la película, entre la historia de Julia y Julie, y es la pareja de cada una de ellas, pues resultan ser pilares en sus vidas, y se convierten en las personas que impulsan y acompañan a estas mujeres en sus proyectos.

No se trata de que “el hombre” es el que permite lo que ocurre, pero sí considero que lo que intenta hacer llegar esta historia, es que siempre es bueno tener una buena compañía al lado, que alimente tu motivación e inspiración.

These women not only had an idea, but they put it into practice and achieved a goal that perhaps they did not even imagine at the beginning.

Their paths, based on perseverance, began to open and expand, just by taking a first step and continuing to work to achieve their dreams, which in the beginning, were simply to find a passion and live in harmony and well-being. That was already a success, which materialized in their works.

This is a film based on a true story, which makes it even more exquisite.

Valores en juego

Se observa mucho la persistencia, la seguridad en uno mismo, la autoconfianza, la voluntad.

Estas mujeres no solo tuvieron una idea, sino que la pusieron en práctica y lograron un objetivo que quizás ni imaginaban al principio.

Sus caminos, en base a la perseverancia, se empezaron a abrir y expandir, sólo por dar un primer paso y seguir trabajando para conseguir sus sueños, que en un principio, pasaban sencillamente, por encontrar una pasión y vivir en la armonía y en el bienestar. Ese ya era un éxito, que se materializó en sus obras.

Esta es una película basada en una historia real, lo que la hace todavía más exquisita.
