Hello dear Movies and TV Shows community. This time I'll bring you a review of a movie I saw a few weeks ago in this crazy life I'm having lately. Actually it's not that I'm crazy, it's just that I'm working quite a bit and no, don't think I'm becoming a millionaire, hehe. I'm working quite a bit to make ends meet, pay my room rent and so on.
I have not abandoned you, hehe, I always try to get back to the rhythm I had a few months ago, of posting daily, but right now my planning is failing me a little bit, a topic I talked so much about. Suddenly the fact of having to sit down to write late at night, which is when I get back from work, demands too much energy. So, I'm seriously thinking of starting to upload shorts, but the setup also takes time. Anyway, the conclusion is that I have to change my job and start working during the day. I will tell you more about this later.
Anyway, I know that soon I will be back to my usual discipline.
The thing is that I don't have much time to watch movies, in fact I have seen only 2 since I left Argentina.
One of them was The Snow Society and the other was A Star is Born, which is the one I'll tell you about this time.

Hola querida comunidad de Movies and TV Shows. En esta oportunidad les acercaré la reseña de una película que vi hace unas semanas en esta loca vida que estoy teniendo últimamente. En realidad no es que sea loca, sino que estoy trabajando bastante y no, no crean que me estoy haciendo millonaria, jeje. Estoy trabajando bastante para poder vivir, pagar el alquiler de mi habitación y demá.
No los tengo abandonados, jeje, siempre intento volver al ritmo que tenía hace unos meses, de publicar a diario, pero ahora mismo me está fallando un poco la planificación, un tema del que tanto hablé. De pronto el hecho de tener que sentarme a escribir a altas horas de la noche que es cuando vuelvo del trabajo, demanda demasiada energía. Por eso, estoy pensando seriamente en empezar a subir shorts, pero la configuración también toma su tiempo. En fin, la conclusión es que debo cambiar de trabajo y empezar a trabajar de día. Luego les hablaré de esto.
Igualmente sé que en breve regresaré con mi disciplina de siempre.
La cuestión es que no tengo mucho tiempo para ver películas, de hecho he visto solo 2 desde que me fui de Argentina.
Una de ellas fue La Sociedad de la Nieve y la otra fue A Star is Born, que es de la que les hablaré en esta oportunidad.
The truth is that the movie is cute, it's not that it's bad, but of course from my point of view, it's not a very impacting story in the sense that it really inspires.
Basically we are dealing with a girl who has an incredible talent for singing, but who is in complete anonymity, working in a bar and eventually playing shows. One day, a famous rock singer listens to her, and opens the doors to a path of absolute success where the potential of Ally, the singer of the film played by none other than the famous Lady Gaga, becomes evident.
Jackson, played by Bradly Cooper, is the singer who not only discovers her, but also has a kind of flashback with this girl, with whom he ends up falling in love.
The problem is that this acclaimed singer is an alcoholic and is not able to lead an orderly life, so to speak, because in the end alcohol ends up managing his whole life, even losing the possibility of forming something nice with a person he loves.
La verdad es que la película es linda, no es que sea malísima, pero claro que desde mi punto de vista, no es una historia demasiado impactante en el sentido que realmente inspire.
Básicamente estamos ante una chica que tiene un talento increíble para cantar, pero que está en el completo anonimato, trabajando en un bar y brindando shows eventualmente. Un día, un famoso cantante de rock la escucha, y le abre las puertas a un camino de éxito absoluto en donde se evidencia el potencial que tiene Ally, la cantante del film interpretada nada más y nada menos que por la famosa Lady Gaga.
Jackson, interpretado por Bradly Cooper, es el cantante que no sólo la descubre, sino que además tiene una especie de flechazo con esta chica, de quien termina por enamorarse.
El problema es que este aclamado cantante es alcohólico y no logra llevar adelante una vida ordenada digamos, pues al final el alcohol termina por manejar su vida entera, perdiendo incluso la posibilidad de formar algo lindo junto a una persona a la que ama.
The film revolves around this theme, and what stands out as a positive is Ally's determination once the doors of recognition have been opened for her.
That is something I value a lot about the story, and it is the ability of this girl to focus on her projects even though she is in love and even though her personal life is in chaos for being next to someone with alcoholism problems, which must not be easy at all.
Although the ending of the film made a lot of noise to me, because I noticed it counterposed in the message that the film sought to provide in its development, I think it leaves a pretty clear message about the power we are capable of giving to vices (I will not tell the ending because I will ruin the film for you).
La película gira en torno a este tema, y lo que se destaca como positivo es la determinación de Ally una vez que se le han abierto las puertas del reconocimiento.
Eso es algo que valoro mucho de la historia, y es la capacidad de esta chica de enfocarse en sus proyectos aunque esté enamorada y aunque su vida personal sea un caos por estar junto a alguien con problemas de alcoholismo, lo cual no debe ser para nada fácil.
Aunque el final de la película me hizo mucho ruido, porque lo noté contrapuesto en el mensaje que buscó brindar el film en su desarrollo, creo que deja un mensaje bastante claro sobre el poder que somos capaces de otorgarle a los vicios (no contaré el final porque les arruinaré la película).
Apart from that denouement, the development of the story constantly speaks to us of overcoming and stumbling. The overcoming is represented by Ally, while the stumbles can be seen in Jackson, who also seeks to get up again and again.
At the same time, we see in Ally an absolute respect for others, but mainly for her own path, while we can see how Jackson constantly leans on Ally, finding in her a reason to be well, without being able to understand that he must find this reason within himself and not outside or in other people.
Fuera de aquel desenlace, el desarrollo de la historia nos habla permanentemente de superación y tropiezos. La superación está representada por Ally, mientras que los tropiezos pueden verse en Jackson, quien igualmente busca levantarse una y otra vez.
Paralelamente vemos en Ally un respeto absoluto por los demás, pero principalmente por su propio camino, mientras que se puede observar cómo Jackson se apoya constantemente en Ally, encontrando en ella un motivo para estar bien, sin poder comprender que debe en contrar este motivo en su interior y no fuera o en otras personas.
The film on the other hand is very redundant, very cyclical. What they share is real, because it is the cycle of addiction, but for a production, I think they should have worked a little more on the complexity of the story, or they could have made a short film.
As for the performances, I loved them. Bradly Cooper for me is a genius of cinema, I really like his acting. And I had seen Lady Gaga before in AHS and I thought her performance was pretty good for not being an actress.
This time I did like her performance and although I don't think it's extraordinary, I think it's very remarkable considering she's a singer and that's it. Still, it makes it clear that it seeks excellence in what it does.
What I really liked about this movie is the soundtrack. There are very well known themes with extremely interesting and attractive versions, and the song Always Remember Us This Way seems beautiful to me.
La película por otro lado es muy redundante, muy cíclica. Lo que comparten es real, pues es el ciclo de la adicción, pero para ser una producción, creo que deberían haber trabajado un poco más en la complejidad de la historia, o bien podrían haber hecho un corto tranquilamente.
Con respecto a las actuaciones, me encantaron. Bradly Cooper para mí es un genio del cine, me gusta mucho cómo actúa. Y a Lady Gaga la había visto antes en AHS y me había parecido una actuación bastante buena para no ser ella actriz.
En esta oportunidad sí que me gustó su actuación y aunque no me parece extraordinaria, creo que es muy destacable considerando que ella es cantante y ya. Igual deja en claro que busca la excelencia en lo que hace.
Lo que sí me gustó mucho de esta película es la banda sonora. Hay temas muy conocidos con versiones sumamente interesantes y atractivas, y la canción Always Remember Us This Way me parece hermosa.

I do recommend watching it as a straightforward movie, but I suggest you be prepared for the ending.
On the other hand, I think it's a must for Lady Gaga fans because of the songs and her excellent performance.

Esta película me gustó mucho. Anteriormente ya habian salido tres versiones, esta sería la cuarta. Lo que más me gustó del film del cual escribes es la química que se nota entre los protagonistas. O sea, para mí hay algo allí, no sólo fue actuación, fue como verlos hacer Click. Y si es muy linda y toca temas fuertes, buen trabajo con tu post! me encantó.

If you have the time watch the 1976 version starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, where the roles are reversed. I prefer the recent one with Lady G to be honest
