Too gripping...ecency-star prompt

A mystery is linked to something that is difficult to explain or comprehend. Many believe that life is full of mysteries and mysterious occurrences. In as much as I respect that school of thought and hold no doubt whatsoever to it, I am yet to encounter one personally.

I have heard many tales from close friends, relatives and acquaintances about certain heart gripping mysterious events like ghost sightings, hearing strange voices and other mystical being visitation. All these have all cumulated to the fact that....there are certain mysteries to life.

Similarly, I watched a movie last year that waa heart gripping and full of mystery, howbeit, it was a sci-fi movie. At first I wondered how they came up with such an intelligent story and how the actors were able to bring the story to life as well. It was a really good mystery movie.

Plot

The movie began with a lonely, heartbroken pregnant lady named Malorie who is also an artist, discussing about an unknown plague ravishing several parts of the earth. At the hospital for her check up, she notices that the plague is here. In fright, she runs to the car and asks her sister to drive away, alerting her of the plagues's presence, unfortunately her sister is affected and she takes her own life...a
symptom of the plague's effect.

Not knowing what to do, she abandons the car and starts to run to safety while also protecting her pregnancy. She is rescued by Tom and both head into a mansion owned by a gay couple, also harbouring about six individuals hiding for safety. The plot thickens as many try to grasp what the plague is without success. Tom was the only one who could help them out with preventive measures against the plague that causes one to be suicidal. They shut all windows and turned off anything that was reflective. They successfully lived like that until they welcomed in a stranger who unbeknownst to them had seen the plague but was affected in a different way. Before they realized it, four people were dead, one also a pregnant woman whi had just delivered her baby.

Subsequently, Tom and Malorie had to live their lives as blind wanderers to avoid seeing the plague and becoming infected. On one of their heists, rhey were surrounded by seers who were forcing survivors to "see". Tom died trying to protect them and then it dawned on Malorie to move to a safer site with the kids. The journey was made on water and it was a rollercoaster of mysterious events and fear gripping moments.
