The Beekeeper...yay!

When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I was so excited. Let's just say that I love all Jason Statham's movies and so when I saw him as the protagonist of the movie, it felt surreal. I just knew that I had to watch the movie when it was released.

Finally after months of being busy and working my ass off literally, I finally found time to watch the beekeeper. I must confess that when it comes to action movies, Jason Statham does not disappoint at all, not in the slightest bit.

The beekeeper is an action thriller film directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer. It has a running time of 105 minutes, which i would say was more than enough to keep me thrilled and glued to the screen. I was afraid to blink because I thought that I would miss a scene and I didn't want to miss any scene at all, hehe.

The plot

The story begins with a cozy scenery where Adam Clay (Jason Statham) lives as a beekeeper with an old widow who was his landlady. A phone scam that took away all the old lady's savings leading to her tragic demise leads Adam to take up his guns. Adam on his quest discovers that the phone scam runs deep, so deep that its reaching the president's house as the son of the president happens to be the master mind. This did not stop Adam from cleaning the beehive and protecting the colony. A beekeeper never relents until he or she has achieved the goal and that was exactly displayed by Adam Clay.

My review

I totally like the progression of the movie from cool scenery to bloody actions. I liked the way the story line was dope, no loopholes, no second guessing and no loosing the audience along the way. I think David Ayer deserves a lot of credit for the smooth ride of each scene. I also think that the difficulty levels was cool and so progressive and so believable.

Oh there's so much that I can say about how good the movie was but I'll stop here so you can also go watch the movie too and if you have sen the movie, please share your thoughts below in the comments section.

I leave below the trailer of the movie.

Thank you all for reading...shalom
