My phone and I: There's no need for Jexi's return.

Both the past and the present lie within its grips. It is interesting...fascinating I'd say to see how much time is spent on using our device. It is like the perfect home for us because with it, we can create a lot of unimaginable things. This is why our life is centered around it.

I started using phones at a very young age, and that began my journey toward phone usage. It was interesting and exciting when I first got a phone and ever since it came to my life, a lot has happened. I have been making the best use of it.

Connecting with friends and families, getting my order to my doorstep, searching for work, writing and interacting online, playing games, listening to news and music, watching movies and taking pictures of places and exploring the world through its eyes. That's some of the magical world of using my phone has given me. The phone is a magnificent product which helps me do all these at ease. Gone were the days when pigeons would fly high to deliver a message, letters passed through lockers or pens, usage of fax, and lots more. Now, with the right Internet connection, the phone sends messages and has them received in seconds.

We have given our phones the ultimate power to do things for us that have taken full control of our lives without it even trying. I'll be using an app on my phone to cite an example on phone control. Ever since I became active on the Duolingo app to learn some languages, the app has been such a baby. An attention seeker that is willing to take your day if you are someone that listens to it.

When it comes to getting bugged by it countless times to remind you of a lesson, the app is very good at that. There are times it gets you so worked up that deleting it would just be the best. However, for the sake of the knowledge it passes to us, it is needed in our phone, especially for someone like me who is very interested in learning languages.

Sadly, a lot of damage would be done to my life if my phone ever takes full control and turns on me. If you have seen the movie, "Jexi" you'd understand better, because I use my phone for a lot of things, it'd be hard staying away from it for a full day because I use it for work and work means there's food on the table and also to interact with people.

Also, my phone having full control means I won't be able to access it because it won't listen to me anymore. This is something I'd never like to face because there's a lot at stake. My phone could make use of my information anyhow it sees fit, it may even make order of things and knowing there's a lot at stake, especially music, I'll prefer not even having the thought of my phone turning against me.

However, if it does,and I lose control of my phone, I'll surely live life, but I'll be back in the ancient world of working and communicating, which wouldn't be so bad. I mean, the way technologies are going nowadays, you never know what can happen in the future.

Surely I'll miss music as well, but nature's music will surely keep me alive with lots of nature's drama.
