Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman.

Have you ever thought about how the word, "Ghost", came into existence even when some people believe it isn't real? Or have you ever found what you believed unbelievably very believable when you least expect it to be? True, some people are ghosts because they have seen and felt it.

In the traditional world, ghosts are real, and some have spoken to them. I have seen cases where I believe it, and one of them happened a few years back.

When my friend's Dad died a few years ago and I found my way to her house that same day, though I got there late at night, I could feel the change in my heart's rhythm. I felt that coldness overtake me as I sat down in their sitting room, trying my best to pacify her. What I felt that night made my heart so heavy that I felt that it would burst. I only know the feeling it gave, and my body can't forget it.

... and now, in Dr. Cheon's case, he wasn't a believer of ghosts despite being a grandson of a strong village Shaman. Though he didn't believe in ghosts, he performs fake exorcisms to extort money from people.

However, something strange happened, but before we move there, let's start from the beginning.

Movie Title:Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman.

Released Date: September 27th, 2023.

Genres: Horror, Crime, Fantasy.

Country: South Korea.

The Movie.

The movie started with the presence of Seolygyeong, which is a weaponized Talisman that seals vile spirits away, and Dr. Cheon's grandfather had it with me when he went to save Dr. Cheon's little brother Dong Woo.

However, a tragic event occurred that closed the chapter...or did it?

Moving to some years later, Dr. Cheon (Gang Dong-Won) who has his grandfather's bracelet that detects evil spirit and Lee Dong Wi known as Inbae who is a badass technician got themselves ready to perform exorcism on the daughter of a rich woman who believes her daughter has been possessed.

And when the exorcism started, it felt so real until something happened. Well, you'll have to get yourself a front seat row to find that out. Haha.

After the exorcism on the family, the next part got more interesting when a mysterious client showed up in their place of work to hire them for a possession case.

At first, Dr. Cheon didn't want to take the job, but with the presence of "the root of all evil", he changed his mind like a wind flow.

This brings Beom-Cheon to the picture. He has been raining havoc in Gwechun, Chungcheong province, and many residents have been getting their things up to move to another place.

However, oh, Yoo-Kung couldn't move out yet because her sister was truly possessed, and she could see it. You see, she has a very special eye. The one which Beom-Cheon craves and wants to have at all cost.

A lot of fighting occurred when Dr. Cheon got to the place and noticed there was truly someone who was possessed, and he was tied to it. It happened that it had to do with his grandfather's unfinished business.

My Opinion.

The movie is packed with the necessary ingredients of making a movie a true one, and I enjoyed every part of it.

It has some comedic attributes to it and a fight scene, which got things more intense.

And if I am to rate it, I'll give it 7/10.

If you are a strong lover of Kdrama, horror, and crime, you can check out this movie.
