Trailer
This is my first time watching an anime like this recently I have written about “A Sign of Affection” which is a 2nd one and the first anime I have watched is “A Silent Voice”. I truly loved the trailer I have barely seen animes where there are is disabled people. It’s very heart touching to see these type of animes as not everyone prioritises these type of stories. It’s a great anime where you get to know how someone with hearing disability feels like.

The story beings with a young girl who is deaf and her name is Shouko. She came to a completely knew school and she introduced herself to everyone. In her class she is the most sweetest girl. She always smiles at everyone even though if someone is not treating her well. She used to apologise for every single thing even if it’s not her fault.
From the very beginning Shouko always wanted to be friends with Shoya. But he is very ashamed of her as she can’t hear and he does not want to be her because of that. As his friends also make fun of him when they seen him with Shouko.
Shouko and his friends started to bully Shoya very badly. One day Shoya pulled the hearing buds from Shoulo’s ear and she started to bleed from her ear. It was very painful for her but still she wanted to make up with Shouko but then they both ended up being in fight to hit each other. Shoya tries to contact Shouko but Shouko is not ready to listen to him. Then he somehow met her younger sister who’s name is Yuzuru. At first he thought it’s a boy but later on he discovered that it’s a girl. He was walking with Yuzuru and suddenly her mother came and slapped Shoya.
Later on Shouko with her younger sister and Shoya and his new friend started to meet and Shoya. One day Shouko found her old friend from school where she got bullied. Review
Any movie which is dealing with bullying and for it’s consequences deserves to be appreciated for the effort. Because bullying is an issue that needs to be addressed and shown to more people more than it is. Bullying can damage ones confidence/self-esteem and make them feel worthless. So, you can say that A Silent Voice is really on an emotional level. This movie turned out to be a very good one in its own right. I know that it is not flawless and also some of the supporting characters are not explored that much as it’s needed also, in some cases the story jumps around & does not feel completed. Great is not a enough strong word to describe this anime movie. The song is very catchy.
Overall
It’s not a perfect one but very well done and I would rate it 8/10. I would say that everyone should try this anime movie once in your life. I don’t think that anyone would dislike this movie as it is a sweet one.

This movie will always be a favorite for me. I love how psychology is somewhat explained in this movie. I still get goosebumps when I see those X(s) slowly falling one by one. That scene is just so precious.
I love the trailer too, I will put this in my watchlist and see if I can get to it before dying...lol

When I watched this movie, I disliked the characters that bullied the main character, because I have been bullied, but they never tried to fix things like Shoya.
This movie is very good and very well done, it shows the damage that bullying can cause to a person and yet Shouko is still a beautiful girl with good feelings ❤️
It is evident to me that this movie has deeply impacted you and the emotion with which it conveys its message about bullying and its consequences. I really appreciate the spoiler alert, I wish everyone did the same.
It is not just a movie but flow of emotions and nostalgia.
One of my favorite movies of this style. I don't like to watch anime movies, but I really loved watching this one, along with some others, especially because of the story and the characters. I really like the way they deal with such delicate and controversial topics as bullying. Also, as for the characters themselves, the development of each one and how the story unfolds until the end is magnetic and quite engaging.
Without a doubt, it is in my Top Best Drama Animes in History.
