Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayham
I am a huge TMNT fan. (For those in the know that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 😏) I have seen all the cartoons and movies I could find. I even read the comics. So when I heard that they were making another movie I was thrilled. Then I saw Seth Rogan was involved. That gave me a moment to pause. Seth Rogan does not typically do clean. I did not want to see a foul-mouth depiction of my childhood. Then I saw an interview with someone who worked on the show. They said that they wanted to shove as many mutants into the movie as possible so they could sell toys. After hearing this I lost all hope and stayed away from the movie. But one day I was bored with my cousin. He is also a huge TMNT fan, so we thought to give the movie a shot.
It was a great movie, that clearly ran out of money and kept making the same sexual reference. The plot and acting was fun. Ice Cube gave an amazing performance as Superfly. The action scenes were usually really good, but you could see when they ran out of money. The screen would shake and the picture would not move. This happened two are three times in the movie and it was jarring. Finally I want get into the sexual comments but they made it in reference to a major plot point
I would not recommend the movie but I do hope that some of the people that worked on the movie get a second chance.
