My walk down the red carpet, without being an actress.

Unforeseen events often lead to even better ones.

Recently, perhaps and probably because of my mistake, I lost some excellent photographs of a light-filled evening stroll.

But, while I didn't like that I said, why not reproduce that same walk, but during the day. And when I arrived at the place, the fair that was there at night had vanished like my photographs.

They really had a timetable and I said to myself I'm not going to wait, I'd better change course.

On the way I came across flowers in the trees, beautiful pink flowers.

Also some people were riding in a carriage, I love horses, I couldn't resist taking a picture of it.

I was leaving the city park behind and the buildings were leading me to a very important event.

That change led me to something cooler. It turns out that Malaga is hosting the 27th Malaga Film Festival and I saw signs everywhere telling me so.

Just like the tale of Hansel and Gretel I followed the breadcrumbs, in this case the posters.

Although most of the events are at night, the red carpet was laid out beautifully on the famous Calle Larios, the most important street in the city.

At the entrance of the street there are beautiful decorations made with flowers, they are there all year round and they are always maintained, they change flowers and today they were glittering.

And there was the red carpet, I don't know if it was for me, but I imagined it was. Imagining is free.

I started walking down it, I felt important, I was in my mind at the big Film Festival.

When I walked along it I was an actress and when I walked to the side I was a spectator watching my favourite actors.

At every step I saw posters and more posters about the event and showing different moments of the previous festival, and its awards ceremony.

Stars and more stars, in those moments portrayed in pictures.

At times I wanted to be a star, as I walked the carpet.

Those who know me know that I love lampposts, how could I miss one or more on this wonderful walk of fame.

The cathedral could be seen in the distance, always imposing.

But my eyes always went back to the actors, imaginary ones, who walked along the carpet.

On my tour I passed by a place where they make very tasty traditional products, such as garrapiñadas, turrones and much, much more. I have tried them and they are delicious.

I arrived at the square of the Constitution and a big structure was there, I didn't know what it was so I went over to see what it was.

Inside it looked like a TV centre or something similar and the whole environment was set up for different events.

I looked back to Larios street with a lot of people walking around the place, would they all be actors?

I see a place with advertising, and people taking pictures and on one side a poster with all the sponsors of the big festival.

The fountain in this square is beautiful and I was there because I also wanted to see the actors, that's why I didn't go for a walk.

Always the views in this place are beautiful, old buildings, palm trees and sun. A lot of beauty.

In the distance I see a green structure and when I get closer I realise that there was a big screen for showing films and many chairs for the spectators.

Everything was very well organised and tidy, the whole place was impeccable.

I loved my walk imagining I was part of this great event, I think nobody saw me.

I said goodbye to the fountain that is always there to greet me, generating a fantastic view of the whole environment.

And I started my way home not before admiring the decorations on the balconies of a very narrow street, but it was beautiful.
