In this world there are different timelines, present, past and future and from them all possible derivations.

The future is created according to the choices and decisions we make in life. Each choice a possible timeline. Lots of potential futures that depend absolutely on us, on our thoughts and actions.

The question would be: Can these timelines intertwine and going back to the past change our future? Can something terrible be prevented from happening in the past?

If so, the timeline would change and thus our future. No one can suspect that the slightest intrusion into the past can radically change the future.

En este mundo existen distintas líneas temporales, presente, pasado y futuro y a su vez de ellas todas las posibles derivaciones.

El futuro es creado de acuerdo a las elecciones y decisiones que tomamos en la vida. Cada elección una línea temporal posible. Cantidades de futuros potenciales que dependen absolutamente de nosotros, de nuestros pensamientos y acciones.

La pregunta sería: ¿Acaso esas líneas pueden entremezclase y volviendo al pasado cambiar nuestro futuro? ¿Se podrá evitar que algo terrible ocurra en el pasado?

Si así fuera la línea temporal cambiaria y de esa manera nuestro futuro. Nadie puede sospechar que una mínima intromisión en el pasado pueda cambiar radicalmente el futuro.

Perhaps things are simply as they should be, to change something would also mean intervening in another person's free will and that would mean disposing of the other person's life and choices, without even that person's knowledge.

All this leads me to think that we each have the freedom to choose, although we are always conditioned by various factors, social, beliefs, programmes. But in essence each person chooses for themselves and it is unethical for another to interfere in our lives.

What would happen if one day you woke up and the life you remember no longer existed and you had a different one?

Quizá simplemente las cosas son como deben ser, cambiar algo también significaría intervenir en el libre albedrio de otra persona y eso significaría disponer de la vida y elecciones del otro, sin siquiera el conocimiento de dicha persona.

Todo esto me lleva a pensar que cada uno tenemos la libertad de elegir, aunque siempre estemos condicionados por varios factores, sociales, creencias, programas. Pero en esencia cada persona elige por si misma y no es ético que otro interfiera en nuestra vida.

During the storm is a Spanish film from 2018, whose director is Oriol Paulo, won 20 nominations for the Goya awards.
It unites drama with suspense keeping the viewer always attentive.

The story begins with a storm and a strange interference that, through a television, links two different times separated by 25 years. On one side there is a boy recording his guitar playing and on the other side a woman, Vera, who finds travelling tapes of the boy playing the guitar. At one point the two connect with that difference in years.

The boy's story was tragic, he dies in an accident that day of the storm, after witnessing a murder that a neighbour carries out against his wife.

Vera prevents this by asking him not to leave the house and this fact changes his life.

A woman who was happily married, a great professional and with a beautiful daughter. All that disappears when she avoids Nicolás' death.

Durante la tormenta es una película española del año 2018, cuyo director es Oriol Paulo, obtuvo 20 candidaturas a los premios Goya.
Une el drama con el suspenso manteniendo al espectador siempre atento.

La historia comienza con una tormenta y una extraña interferencia que, a través de una televisión, une dos tiempos distintos separados por 25 años. De un lado esta un niño grabando como toca una guitarra y del otro una mujer, Vera, que encuentra cintas viajas de ese niño tocando la guitarra. En un momento dado ambos se conectan con esa diferencia de años.

La historia del niño era trágica, muere en un accidente ese día de la tormenta, después de presenciar un asesinato que un vecino realiza contra su mujer.

Vera impide eso, al pedirle que no salga de la casa y ese hecho cambia su vida.

Una mujer que estaba felizmente casada, una gran profesional y con una hija preciosa. Todo eso desaparece cuando evita la muerte de Nicolás.

Her daughter does not exist, she is not married and when she discovers this, her world falls apart. She searches for answers, she is thought to be crazy or to have a disorder.

She turns to the police, and the inspector who finds her case doesn't seem to believe her. But she keeps remembering that life that doesn't exist and searches tirelessly for answers and how to get it back.

She discovers that Nicolas had been saved, but in an accumulation of misunderstandings they thought he had gone mad talking about a woman with whom he had a conversation through a television set.

Now the storm was happening again and Vera had 72 hours, as long as the storm lasted, to get her life back or the portal she had opened would close forever and she would never see her daughter again.

Su hija no existe, no esta casada y al descubrir esto su mundo se viene abajo. Busca respuestas, la creen loca o con un trastorno.

Recurre así a la policía, y el inspector que da con su caso parece no creerle. Pero ella sigue recordando esa vida que no existe y busca incansablemente respuestas y como recuperarla.

Descubre que el Nicolás se había salvado, pero en un cúmulo de malos entendidos creyeron se había vuelto loco hablando de una mujer con la que mantuvo una charla a través de un televisor.

Ahora la tormenta volvía a repetirse y Vera tenía 72 horas, lo que dura la tormenta, para recuperar su vida o el portal que ella abrió se cerraría para siempre y ya no volvería a ver a su hija.

But why didn't she remember her life in the new timeline? That was something the police inspector helped her to remember, as he had interfered with that timeline by preventing her from meeting her husband and thus having a daughter.

She discovers the truth and decides that she wants her life, the real one. However, this new timeline made her discover that her husband in the previous life was cheating on her.

Things happen for a reason in life, a good message from this fabulous film.

Vera had saved that child, now it was time for Nicolas to save her.
Can Vera get her life and her beloved daughter back before the 72 hours are up?

¿Pero porque no recordaba su vida en la nueva línea temporal? Eso fue algo que el inspector de policía le ayudo a recordar, ya que había interferido en esa línea evitando se conociera con su marido y así tuviera una hija.

Ella descubre la verdad y decide que quiere su vida, la real. Sin embargo, esta nueva línea temporal le hizo descubrir que su marido en la anterior vida la engañaba.

Las cosas pasan por alguna razón en la vida, un buen mensaje que deja esta fabulosa película.

Vera había salvado a ese niño, ahora era momento de que Nicolas la salve.
¿Podrá Vera recuperar su vida y a su amada hija antes que pasen las 72 horas?

A plot full of suspense, intrigue and a lot of expectation. I absolutely recommend it.
One of my favourite themes has always been time and its mysteries and this production has it.
