Movie Review of : The Kill
Good morning to the people of the HIVE
I just finished watching one of the most violent movies of this year and I am not sure how I am feeling after watching this Movie.
The name of the Movie is Kill and I have to say this is a new age Bollywood Movie which if you want to enjoy then you have to have an acquired taste. I don’t think such a movie has existed in the past or will be done in the future as I feel like the Censor Board of India will now take this movie as a reference point for Violence in a Movie and start omitting scenes.
The Plot of the Movie lies around two people who are in Love with each other but can’t get married due to family tensions and pressure. While our Protagonist is a NSG Commando in the Indian Army he is traveling on a train with his Love and her family to Delhi and then all Hell Breaks Loose. A Robbery occurs and now the Movie becomes more of a Killing Spree than a Common Movie.
I watched the entire movie and almost 80 percent of that Movie was shot on a Moving Train because of the close not spacing the Action Sequences looked fresh and kinda edgy. This Movie also showcases the psyche of the Protagonist who at the beginning of the fight was against Killing and only started to go for the KILL once he lost something important to him and the kills started to get brutal AF.
Now as for the Negative Role it was played by an actor named Raghav and I was particularly impressed by the character and dialogue design of him as he fit perfectly to the character of a Robber and even though the highlight of the Movie was the Action Sequences but the Negative Character definitely kept his feet stuck to the ground with his acting skills.
So if you ask me for the bottom line I will say that this Movie is a Action Sequence Masterpiece but a little too edgy so take the 18+ Adult Tag pretty seriously as some scenes are pretty gruesome.
