Crash Landing on You (my favorite K-drama)

Hi everyone!

Are you a fan of K-drama (Korean Drama Series)? To be honest, I am an avid fan of K-drama and I've already watched many of them on Netflix. Most of the K-dramas I've watched were recommended by my daughter's best friend. They were all good and really worth watching. But among all of those popular K-dramas I've watched, Crash Landing on You is really the best for me. In fact, I've watched this three times already.

The series storyline revolves around a South Korean heiress and businesswoman, Yoon Se-Ri (Ye Jin) when she accidentally crash-landed on the borders of North Korea while paragliding. There, she met Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin), a captain in the North Korean People's Army who helped her hide and return to South Korea secretly. But, they encountered a lot of hardships and failures in doing so.

In this drama series, there are two love stories. First, the epic and main love story between Se Ri and Captain Ri. The swoon-worthy romance and electrifying chemistry of these two actors really touched my heart. The other couple was played by Seo Dan (Seo Ji Hye) and Gu Seung Jun (Kim Jung Hyun). They delivered a brilliant performance in the series, too.

There were a lot of unforgettable scenes that I really loved in this series, like the part when the female lead gave the male lead the fingerhearts and he asked his subordinates what they meant.

I also love Se Ri's thoughtfulness towards Captain Ri's men. But among all of the scenes that I like, the scene when Captain Ri risked his life to protect Se Ri while on his motorbike and vice versa was my favorite.

As for the settings, I really love the wonderful sceneries in Switzerland as some scenes were shot in that country as well. I also like how they portrayed or showed the differences in the attitudes and laws between North and South Korea.

I highly recommend this Korean TV series. You will definitely love it.
