Uncharted 2022 Movie Review - Mission to find treasure 500 years ago
The excitement of watching Hollywood films never ends, tonight I just finished watching the film entitled Uncharted which will be released in 2022.
Synopsis of this film tells the story of 2 great thieves who want to steal a very valuable treasure that has been lost for 500 years.
This film stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas and several other great actors, and this film also received a rating of 6.3 from the IMDB site.
This film, which was produced by director Ruben Fleischer, begins with the introduction of a main character named Nathan, played by Tom Holland, he is the younger brother of a thief named Sam who had to be willing to go to prison because he was caught stealing several times. .
Nathan, who is an orphan, is very ambitious to be able to meet his brother again one day, which makes this film full of emotion.
The character and character of each thief presented in the film is also shown very perfectly. Mark Wahlberg, who plays Victor, is also portrayed as a thief who is good at seducing people with sweet words to melt other people's hearts.
Throughout the film we see many scenes of betrayal, such as when Nathan and Victor had to trust a woman named Chloe when they had to work together to look for a treasure map under a church in Barcelona, Spain.
What makes this film even more interesting to watch is the choice of shooting locations that are very suitable for an adventure film, one of which is this old church which is decorated with various obstacles typical of treasure hunter films.
Even though the film is a bit tense and has a high emotional effect on the audience because of the many scenes of betrayal, it still makes me curious to see every next scene that will be carried out by each character because the acting of each actor in this film is truly perfect.
Apart from Chloe, Nathan and Victor's other enemy is Braddock who works with Chloe. After being betrayed by Chloe by seizing the treasure map from Nathan, Chloe and Braddock will now fly to the Philippines to retrieve the treasure.
This is where the most epic scene in this film is shown, namely when Nathan and Victor sneak onto the cargo plane that Braddock managed to steal to take them to the Philippines.
The epic scene was when they had to kill each other while the plane was still in the air. The scene of the items on the plane falling into the sea is like the scene where the car is dropped in the film Fast and Furious 7 from a flying plane, this scene was executed very perfectly by the director and editor of the film.
This scene looks very real without the slightest editing process. Even though Nathan previously knew that his older brother Sam had died and he wanted to leave this mission, Victor's deadly persuasion made him enthusiastic again to continue his treasure hunt.
So far, the tense scenes shown in the film are increasingly interesting, the actor Tom Holland is depicted as always looking innocent in every film he plays, making him very suitable as a thief who is very easily tricked by other people in this film.
Apart from being portrayed as an innocent character, Tom Holland alias Nathan is also depicted as a young man who is clever and a little cunning. When he found out the true coordinates for the treasure, Nathan tricked Chloe by giving her the wrong coordinates.
And the most epic final scene in this film is when Braddock and his team successfully fly away a pirate ship from the past containing very valuable treasure using a transport helicopter.
While this excitement looks very real without any editing or additional CGI effects, my annoyance as a viewer became even more intense when this scene was shown because Braddock succeeded. seize these 2 pirate ships full of treasure from Nathan's hands.
After the battle in the air between Nathan, Victor and Braddock was over, Nathan and Braddock finally managed to survive, but what made me feel a little angry when watching the ending of this film was that Nathan and Victor didn't take the pirate ship containing the treasure and the treasure. In it, the two of them actually threw the pirate ship and its treasure contents back into the Philippine sea with Braddock and they only took a few valuable items after their hard work all this time.
My opinion about this film is really mixed, between being entertained and angry in one, this is a film that was created to test the emotions of the audience.
Every tense scene and the great actions of the actors who played in each scene really made me entertained. The plot twist of this film is also very interesting, because actually Nathan and Victor don't steal and hunt for treasure to gain wealth, they work hard just for personal satisfaction.
This is a good film and I highly recommend it to be watched, the duration of 116 minutes feels like it's not enough to watch this exciting film, and seeing that the ending is still interrupted, it looks like there will be another Uncharted 2 film in the future.
The conclusion that I can draw after watching this film is, never trust anyone, because the people closest to you right now could betray you at any time. Usually people will approach us when they want something from us, after that they will betray and stay away from us, and what's worse is, the person we trust most now could become our enemy in the future.
So, stay alert and don't trust anyone too much, so that we never experience painful betrayal.
This is a very exciting Uncharted film review, see you in the next film review.
