Carter 2022 Film Review - A Father's Sacrifice for His Beloved Daughter and Wife
A father is a figure who always wants to protect his small family from any threat, let alone an enemy, a dictatorial country will be opposed in order to save his beloved wife and children, a father is also an unsung hero who is willing to sacrifice his life to provide the best for his wife and children. , that's what I saw in the film Carter which will be released in 2022.
This film tells the story of a South Korean Special Forces officer who was reprogrammed by a secret intelligence organization to the point that he lost all his memories and became the most brutal person with the killings he carried out while completing missions.
This is what makes me always like Action Thriller genre films from South Korea, Thriller actions really make the heart beat. The actors who play this film are also not tin cans.
The main character of this film stars Joo Won as Carter Lee with the great director Jeong Byeong-Gil who has made many great films such as The Villainess, Confession Of Murder and many other great films.
This Carter film is so thrilling, at the opening of the film we will immediately be shocked by the bloody scenes and terrifying fights using sharp weapons, I'm sure if someone has a heart disease they definitely won't be able to watch this film.
The conflict created in the film is about the clash between two Koreas, namely South Korea and North Korea due to a terrible virus which can make sufferers become like terrible zombies who can kill brutally, and there is also a little CIA interference in the story of this film.
Throughout the film we are always curious about how the story of this film will end because the story is really convoluted, but it doesn't make us lose the direction of the real story.
I really enjoyed every second of the action scenes in this film, luckily I watched it at night which made me calmer when watching this terrible film.
If you look closely, the context of this film is like a film that wants to corner North Korea and the CIA, which really likes to pit each country against each other.
I even thought about whether events in the real world were like that, while watching this film I even thought about whether the Corona Virus that hit the world in 2019 existed because it was created by a certain group like the virus in this film.
What made me feel even more touched when I was watching this film was when I was told that a Carter who was losing his memory was actually fighting to save his child because there was this virus too.
This is where my heart began to be touched when I saw the struggle of a father who was willing to bleed blood to save his daughter, even though he didn't remember anything in his head, but his instincts were sure that he had once had a daughter, because that was what made Carter truly not afraid to die to save his daughter.
My opinion about this film would probably be to say that the entire storyline of this film is very good and deserves to be given two thumbs up. However, Asian films can of course never compete with Hollywood films in terms of editing with CGI effects when showing action scenes.
Some scenes from this film can be said to look very bad, even though we know that all films will not have original scenes, they are all edited, but most Hollywood films make the action with these edits occur with elements that make sense.
In this film, some of the action scenes made me laugh because the editing looked empty which made it unpleasant to look at. Apart from that, I admit that this film is a great film, especially when it shows the bloody scenes during the fight scenes.
The effects of the blood flowing throughout the film are so real that they succeed in making this film look very tense. Scenes like this are what make me never turn away from Korean Action Thriller films.
And what makes this film look even more interesting is that, apart from telling the story of the struggle of a father who is willing to die for his daughter, there is also a bit of a very romantic love drama story, even as a teenager I felt numb to the thing called love, when watching love dramas. This film seems to make me want to have a lover again.
This is one of the Korean films that I really like that I have ever watched, wasting 132 minutes of time watching the film doesn't feel like a loss because this film is really cool.
The conclusion that can be drawn from this film is, love and appreciate the services of your parents, because we will never know what sacrifices they have made to give us the best.
Maybe if our parents demand retribution for their services to us, even if we die we won't be able to repay them. After watching Carter's film, I love my parents even more.
This is a review of the film Carter that I just watched, see you in the next film review.
Yeehaw, this blog post is as thrilling as a wild ride through the prairie! It's mighty fine to see a father's love and sacrifice highlighted in the action-packed world of South Korean cinema. The film Carter sounds like a real rollercoaster of emotions and adrenaline that keeps the heart racing till the credits roll. Just like a cowboy values his trusty steed, cherish and appreciate the love and sacrifices of your parents, partner. Stay true, cowboy, and keep enjoying those Korean Action Thrillers!
