Through Your Eyes (Review) :The best film of the trilogy?

Today I want to talk to you about the culmination of the trilogy A través De Mi Ventana which has the name A través De Tu Mirada and this last installment did not have great expectations but A Través del Mar was a better installment than the first film. What happens with this last installment?

El día de hoy quiero venir hablarles sobre la culminación de la trilogía A través De Mi Ventana la cual tiene el nombre de A través De Tu Mirada y es que esta última entrega no tenía gran expectativa pero A Través del Mar fue una mejor entrega que la primera película ¿Qué sucede con esta última entrega?

Literally this movie is fresh out of the oven on Netflix, among the cast we have Julio Peña as the Greek God known as Ares, Clare Galle as Raquel, Natalia Azahara as Dani, Andrea Chaparro as Vera, Hugo Arbues as Apollo, Eric Masip as Artemis among other actors.

Literalmente esta película está recién salida del horno en Netflix, entre el elenco tenemos a Julio Peña como el Dios griego conocido como Ares, Clare Galle como Raquel, Natalia Azahara como Dani, Andrea Chaparro como Vera, Hugo Arbues como Apolo, Eric Masip como Artemis entre otros actores.

I have always thought that to talk about a sequel of something it is necessary to mention that it contains some kind of Spoiler because even if you don't want to, you are going to reveal something that the viewer surely doesn't know. In this sequel we see how life goes on for Raquel after her breakup with Ares and although they do not specifically say it, several months have passed, she published her book "A Través De Mi Ventana" and is in a new relationship, what she did not expect is that on Christmas Eve Ares would return to her house and the irremediable attraction they feel would come to the surface.

Siempre he pensado que para hablar de una secuela de algo es necesario mencionar que contiene algún tipo de Spoiler ya que así uno no quiera va a revelar algo que seguramente no sepa el espectador. En esta continuación vemos como sigue la vida para Raquel después de su ruptura con Ares y es que a pesar que no lo digan específicamente ha pasado varios meses, ella público su libro “A Través De Mi Ventana” y está en una relación nueva, lo que no espera es que en víspera de navidad Ares regresara a su casa y la irremediable atracción que sienten surgiera a flote.

To tell you the truth, I was intrigued with the ending of the second movie and they did make you feel a little bit about Yoshi's death and how it all ended. I was expecting a plot that would show what a life is like trying to be emotionally independent from someone else but from the beginning we see how Raquel's life is Ares. She writes about him, you can tell she doesn't love her boyfriend, she argues with her mother and she can't see him without feeling that disengagement. It's not the plot I expected but somehow or other I liked it a little bit more than the other installments.

A decir verdad me quede con intriga con el final de la segunda película y es que si hicieron que uno sintiera cositas por la muerte de Yoshi y como termino todo. Esperaba una trama que demostrara como es una vida intentando seguir independientemente emocional de alguien más pero desde un principio vemos como la vida de Raquel es Ares. Escribe de él, se nota que no quiere a su novio, discute con su madre y no lo puede ver sin sentir ese desencaje. No es la trama que esperaba pero de alguna u otra forma me gusto un poquito más que las otras entregas.

It is a shame that they did not take the idea of making a movie of each brother as this one was intended for the three books written by Ariana Godoy, this story told in the film is something apart from what is written on paper so to speak gave more freedom to the script somehow they took advantage of it but not to its full potential, both the three stories of the two brothers felt a little hollow starting with Ares.

Es una pena que no tomaran la idea de hacer una película de cada hermano como esta destinados los tres libros escritos por Ariana Godoy, esta historia contada en la película es algo aparte de lo que está escrito en papel por así decirlo le daba más liberta al guion de alguna manera lo aprovecharon pero no a su máximo potencial, tanto las tres historias de los dos hermanos los sentí un poco hueco comenzando con Ares.

We have the story of Raquel and Ares, it was known that they were going to end up together but there are not so many dialogues that make me feel in love with their reconciliation rather I feel that only three of their scenes made me feel something, but nevertheless it is a plus that in this last installment did not take the morbid as the main element with them, of course in terms of characters I feel that neither fu nor fa I did not see them evolution of anything only the part of Ares to face his family for the love of Raquel, plus the pool scene (gave me like cringe) but they are little things.

Tenemos la historia de Raquel y Ares, se sabía que iban a terminar juntos pero no hay una tantos diálogos que me hagan sentir enamorada de su reconciliación más bien siento que solo tres de sus escenas me hicieron sentir algo, mas sin embargo es un plus de que en esta última entrega no tomaron el morbo como elemento principal con ellos, claro está en términos de personajes siento que ni fu ni fa no les vi evolución de nada solo la parte de Ares de enfrentar a su familia por el amor de Raquel, además de la escena de la piscina (me dio como cringe) pero son cositas.

On the other hand we have Artemis and Claudia, this is a couple that I liked more than the main one, obviously their problems are different. Artemis worries more about work than anything else and thinks that material things can replace the love of a family when it is not so, there is a particular scene that made me feel sad and that is that family is family in any circumstance and I'm glad he realized that, thanks to that they had a good ending but I really wanted a little more of them.

Por otro lado tenemos a Artemis y Claudia esta es una pareja que me gusto más que la principal, obviamente su problemática es diferente. Artemis se preocupa más por el trabajo que por otra cosa y piensa que lo material puedes suplantar a el amor de una familia cuando no es así, hay una escena en particular que me hizo sentir triste y es que la familia es la familia en cualquier circunstancia y me alegro que se diera cuenta, gracias a eso tuvieron un buen final pero en realidad quería un poquito más de ellos.

Apolo and Dani, I didn't consider them a couple at any point in the story. Apolo ends up exploring his sexuality and Daniela realized that the game was twisted, I feel that the plot was very weak and at the end I didn't even understand what happened with them.

Apolo y Dani, ellos no los considere pareja en ningún momento de la historia. Apolo termina explorando su sexualidad y Daniela se dio de cuenta que el juego se le torció, siento que trama fue muy floja y al final ni entendí que paso con ellos.

In general terms I feel that for what was expected was a good closure, this trilogy was quite criticized but I feel that because it was always expected was an adaptation by the readers and as that was lost was received with greater acceptance what they gave type "expect less if you get more, it's a bonus" something like that happened to me, so I would give it a 7/10.

En términos generales siento que para lo que se esperaba fue un buen cierre, esta trilogía fue bastante criticada pero siento que porque siempre se esperaba era una adaptación por partes de las lectoras ya como eso se fue perdiendo se recibió con mayor aceptación lo que dieron tipo “espera menos que si recibes más, es un bonus” algo asi me paso a mí, por ello le daría un 7/10.
