After Sundown (Review)
SourceHola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se me encuentre muy bien. El día de hoy quiero venir hablarles de una película un tanto peculiar que vi. Pero que en algún punto de esta semana me hacía falta ya que cenesitaba un poco de “drama” obviamente del sano en mi vida, la película se llama “After Sundown”.
I don't know if anyone in this beautiful community has seen it, I really got it in a hidden part and I think it's cute, it's Thai, you can say it was released last year. It's Boys Love, if you don't like this kind of content I invite you not to follow it because I don't tolerate discrimination. The story focuses on Rawi a boy who has paranormal perceptions, he has to live in another place where he is forced to marry Phloeng a boy who has an assured destiny if he does not marry his predestined before the age of 25 (who has characteristics that fit with Rawi) they do not love each other, but they have to face paranormal things together.
No sé si alguien de esta hermosa comunidad la haya visto, realmente la conseguí en una parte recóndita y me parece cuchi, es Tailandesa se puede decir que fue estrenada el año pasado. Es Boys Love, por si no te gusta este tipo de contenido te invito a no seguir ya que no tolero la discriminación. La historia se centra en Rawi un chico el cual tiene percepciones paranormales este se tiene que vivir a otro sitio donde lo obligan a casarse con Phloeng un chico que tiene un destino resguardo asegurado si no se casa con su predestinado antes de los 25 años (que tienes características que encajan con Rawi) no se quieren, pero se tienen que enfrentar a cosas paranormales juntos.
I really didn't know whether to watch this movie, but the synopsis of an arranged marriage will always appeal to me. To be honest I haven't seen almost any Thai movie in my life, I didn't know if it could be anything like the Korean ones that have an exquisite production especially in the Thiller. This movie I feel that it becomes modest in many senses of the word in the production of it is not something that I felt very impressive but...there are certain scenes that I did like in the execution. For example in this story there are moments where a ghost or spirit surrounds Rawi on several occasions and those parts gave me the creeps.
Realmente no sabía si verme esta película, pero la sinopsis de un matrimonio arreglado siempre me van a gustar. Al ser sincera casi películas Tailandesa no he visto en mi vida, no sabía si se podía llegar a parecer en algo a las Coreanas que cuentan con una exquisitez de producción sobre todo en el Thiller. Esta película siento que llega a ser modesta en muchos sentidos de la palabra en la producción de la misma no es algo que sintiera muy impresionante pero…hay ciertas escenas que sí que me gustaron en la ejecución. Un ejemplo en esta historia se presenta momentos donde un fantasma o espíritu rodea de Rawi en varias ocasiones y esa partes si me dieron miedito.
SourceLet's start talking about the main issue that made me watch the movie and that was the romance, something I find ironic that usually in gay Taildandese romance they don't give so much trouble to the development of a relationship (they are more open so to speak) so them being together is not a big impediment here, I feel it was a pretty subtle and a bit unstable romance as from less they went to more and from more they went to less. I'm not denying that the one scene that was truly romantic I was very happy and it was also one of the best executed.
Comencemos hablando sobre el tema principal que me hizo ver la película y era el romance, algo que me parece irónico que generalmente en los romance gays Taildandese no le dan tanto problema al desarrollo de una relación (son más abiertos por así decirlo) por eso que ellos estuvieran juntos no es un gran impedimento aquí, siento que fue un romance bastante sutil y un poco inestable ya que de menos iban a más y de más iban a menos. No niego que la única escena que hubo romántica de verdad fui muy feliz y también fue una de las mejores ejecutadas.
In terms of characters I can say that it is not like they gave me something, I feel they were very simplistic in characteristics an example Phloeng I did not see him more as someone half grumpy and arrogant at first but they did not give me more remarkable character development, rather Rawi has a more defined personality, although it also gives me as anger that should always see one as more effeminate than another thing that should not be or I feel it is a kind of standard very bad.
En término de personajes puedo decir que no es como que me dieran algo, siento que eran muy simplones en características un ejemplo Phloeng no lo vi mas como alguien medio gruñón y arrogante al principio pero no me dieron más desarrollo de personaje destacable, más bien Rawi tiene una personalidad más definida, aunque también me da como rabia que siempre debe ver uno como más afeminado que otro cosa que no debería de ser o que siento que es un tipo de estándar muy mal.
SourceThe theme of the ghost I feel that it is something that caused mystery but that until the end they feel to clarify us, it is not like they gave us clues as to why it was there until at some point I thought it was only to regenerate suspense, I also feel that it is a very far-fetched argument because she wanted to be harm to him and the way it ends does not make it stand out or at least raise in its quality.
El tema del fantasma siento que es algo que causo misterio pero que hasta el final se sientan aclararnos, no es como que nos dieran pistas de porque estaba ahí hasta en algún punto creí que solo estaba para regenerar suspenso, siento también que es un argumento muy rebuscado porque ella quería serle daño a él y la manera que termina pues no le hace resaltar o por lo menos elevar en su calidad.
This movie is fine to pass the time, if you would like to see a gay romance without much content of it is perfect besides having a little suspense without generating fear about it, I would give it a 6/10 I hope to continue seeing more productions of this country.
Esta película está bien para pasar el tiempo, si te gustaría ver un romance gay sin mucho contenido del mismo está perfecto además de tener un poco de suspenso sin generar miedo al respecto, le daría un 6/10 espero seguir viendo más producciones de este país.
