Daryn es un adolescente de 17 años aspirante a estudiar en Harvard con una vida dirigida por su padre, todo mediante un plan de vida sin oportunidades de disfrutar su adolescencia e incluso de cumplir su verdadero sueño de ser rapero, un día asiste a un concierto y conoce a Isabelle quien más adelante consigue una cita con ella. Isabelle una chica también adolescente que lleva aparentemente una vida relajada y quien piensa que Daryn es un robot porque no se vive la vida como es debido.
