Keys to the Heart (2023)

This is a Filipino film directed by Kerwin Go and starring Zanjoe Marudo, Elijah Canlas and Dolly de Leon. It is a remake of the 2018 South Korean film.
The plot revolves around a veteran boxer and his family, who after being hit by a car returns home to his mother, with whom he has a painful past, there he has to deal with his mixed feelings and on an autistic brother who is a piano virtuoso.

The denial of harmonious coexistence is constant and unexpected events will make his life take unexpected turns.
He has to deal with his brother's special characteristics and with his destiny in which people cross paths that on the one hand make it easier for him and on the other hand complicate it.
Zanjoe Marudo, an award-winning Filipino TV and film actor whose career began in 2007, plays the role of Joma, the boxer, while Elijah Canlas, a multiple award winner from 2020 to 2022, plays JayJay the autistic boy, She is best known for her roles in the films Verdict, which earned her FAMAS Best Supporting Actress, and Historya ni Ha, and gained international recognition for the Palme d'Or-winning Triangle of Sadness.

The film was released on the Netflix platform in early October and has received positive reviews, both for its subject matter and the performances of its protagonists.
It is undoubtedly a good option for family viewing.
