This Indian thriller is presented as a minimalist work, with a reduced number of characters and locations, and an austere mise-en-scène.
The plot centres on a case of abuse, and the script, while curious and well-crafted, moves forward in a linear fashion, which maintains some interest during the viewing.
However, the film suffers from coldness and lacks the tension needed to keep the viewer on the edge of their seat.
In addition, there is a perceived dissonance between the script and the emotions of the protagonists, which can make it difficult to connect emotionally to the story.

The narrative revolves around a murder, a woman and her daughter who find themselves in a desperate situation, and the police investigating the case.
In the midst of this chaos, an altruistic character becomes the support of her neighbours, trying to help them out of the mess they have got themselves into.
The ending of the film is surprising and original, although it doesn't quite manage to move. Instead, it seems more like an exercise in wit that betrays the moral essence of one of the protagonists, while highlighting their intelligence.
All in all, it is a watchable and well-made film, although it includes a few flourishes, such as martial arts sequences that do not add to the narrative.
Despite its technical quality, it lacks bite and emotional depth, which prevents the viewer from connecting and being moved by the fate of the characters.
