Mathieu is a well-known actor who lives in Paris and is going through a depressive crisis.

Because of his fear of failure, he decides to abandon a play that has already been announced and is about to open.

Married to a successful news anchorwoman, he seeks refuge in the Bay of Quiberon, where he stays at a thalassotherapy centre for treatment.

To his surprise, at the spa he receives a note from Alice, a woman with whom he had a beautiful love story years before.

Alice lives in the area, is a piano teacher, is married and has a daughter. They decide to meet again to talk about their past and the choices, good or bad, they have made in their lives.
