Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star in this 2013 buddy movie.

Vaughn and Wilson are two middle-aged men who long to work at Google and must compete with other hopefuls to make the grade. At this time, Google was seen as the best technology company to work for and Vaughn and Wilson had starred together in several films prior to this one, and their chemistry is undeniable with Vaughn playing the ambitious straightforward man and Wilson playing the oblivious lovable slacker. As someone who lived in a tech hub for decades, this film is relatable. Many of my colleagues and coworkers embarked on such a quest, and it was common to see interns well into their 20s and even 30s vying for positions in tech giants.

This movie is rated PG-13, which can be the kiss of death for a film in that certain humorous situations are limited. This film is in the style of other mid-2000s comedies including Old School, Van Wilder, The Dilemma and Wedding Crashers. Its a blast from the past.
