Judge Dredd is a 1995 action and science fiction movie starring Sylvester Stallone and Rod Schneider based on the comic book.

Judge Dredd is a 1990s action throwback featuring plenty of gunfights and humor. The movie takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future in which justice is administered quickly on the street by judges.

This film is fun to watch and takes me back to the 1990s when movies like this one played on the silver screen. Leaving the movie theater after a film like this almost felt carefree, as you would be lost in the fantasy that was this film. I saw this movie in the theater in California in a mall, and remember walking out into the warm and sunny day to watch a sunset.

I would later move to the Pacific Northwest and then to the Phoenix Metro Area. I look out over the dry desert and this movie comes to mind. Phoenix looks futuristic and post-apocalyptic. The neighborhoods and suburbs sprawl for miles.
