Hot Shots (1991) Japanese Chirashi Poster Art And Opinion

Japanese poster art for the movie:

Hot Shots (1991)

Director:

Jim Abrahams

Starring:

Charlie Sheen, Cary Elwes, Valeria Golino

Hi to you all! Has been a while since my last post and I actually thought of of moving on but here I am again with a new old movie advice:

This time I was watching the the final cut of "Apocalypse now" and being the protagonist Martin Sheen I kept on thinking how peculiar that all I could be reminded (perhaps to take to edge away from the seriousness of those scene)
was that his son played the "Top gun-Rambo" spoof that we all loved and remember!

Here's the trailer for if you have forgotten or actually have never seen it:

This is not the first in its Sarcastic/satirical and surrealistic and at time slapstick theatrical comedy style. Big titles series like "Naked Gun" or "Police Academy" although my favourites are the older "Airplane!" and the even more infamous "Top Secret". Plenty of fun and jaw dislocating laughter to have, with a pinch o political surrealism and social commentary at times!

Maybe i'm biased by a nostalgia of times when I was sitting on the sofa after dinner for a warm family time without responsibilities and able to take the jokes with a light mind but give a try if you haven't.

The Japanese art this didn't add much to the original poster as it is often the case and the reason why this posters have become so collectables in recent years.

I sell posters and have collected them for decades. Hit me up if you want tot know more and please check my other posts!
