La película fue estrenada en el 2017 dirigida por el director Tommy O'Haver. Reseña la historia de Madalyn Murray O'Hair, mujer que fundó la organización Ateos Americanos. Madalyn Murray O'Hair promueve un movimiento civil para defender a los ateos, pero también la cinta, cuenta la desaparición de la activista y su mundo disoluto. El film está grabado en modelo clásico, sin pretensiones de efectos; más bien comparte la terrible experiencia, respetando la ambientación de los hechos (1995). El director quiso graficar el lado oscuro de una mujer que lucha por derechos, no obstante, el guion tiene ideas extensas, deja vacíos y fuerza para contar una historia no solo de la activista, sino de los actos viciosos en los Estados Unidos. The movie The Most Hated Woman in America has a broad title to tell the story that shakes values and rights in a locality and influences the U.S. I anticipate that the film is based on real events, the story refers to a social event that reaffirms ambition mixed with other unsympathetic behavioral traits, which can be found to be detestable or adorable behavior for society. Greetings, fellow moviegoers! Today I bring the review of the film that, from my appreciation, has a simple profile in the shooting, but due to the event and the consequences of the actions of the woman, generated curiosity to know how the story ends.

The film was released in 2017 and directed by Tommy O'Haver. It reviews the story of Madalyn Murray O'Hair, a woman who founded the organization American Atheists. Madalyn Murray O'Hair promotes a civil movement to defend atheists, but the tape tells of the disappearance of the activist and her dissolute world. The film is shot on a classic model without pretensions to effects; rather, it shares the terrible experience, respecting the setting of the events (1995). The director wanted to show the dark side of a woman who fights for rights, however, the script has extensive ideas, leaves gaps, and has the strength to tell a story not only of the activist but of the vicious acts in the United States. The intro has an entertaining and informative feel from a homely space; while the sequence is structured in time loops to explain the disappearance of the woman who founded the American Atheists organization.

Les puedo afirmar que las imágenes son las clásicas representaciones de la época: los colores, la dinámica de la vida, el vestuario, los muebles, accesorios, la tecnología y otros que configuran el conjunto visual de la trama de género drama, biográfica y de crimen. Igualmente, aseguro que, la música adorna el drama enérgico, haciendo honor al personaje de Madalyn Murray O'Hair, por supuesto que, cambian los efectos en momentos de tensión y dolor con melodías frías, suaves o de suspenso. El cartel de este séptimo arte, está compuesto mayormente de blanco, va con el contenido basado en la libertad y las letras aclaran que es sobre la biografía de un personaje; sin embargo, los personajes ocultan algo, están de espalda y pequeños, la ilustración pinta el drama y el crimen. Los diálogos son proyectiles en las líneas de la actriz, hay dinamismo e impacto en las frases, pero penosa en cómo contar la historia, es decir, desde que visión compartida cuando los diálogos son simples y el desenlace desordenado.

I can assure you that the images are classic representations of the period: the colors, the dynamics of life, the costumes, the furniture, the accessories, the technology, and others that make up the visual set of the drama, biographical, and crime genre plots. Likewise, I assure you that the music adorns the energetic drama, honoring the character of Madalyn Murray O'Hair, of course, changing the effects in moments of tension and pain with cold, soft, or suspenseful melodies. The poster of this seventh art, composed mostly of white, goes with the content based on freedom, and the letters clarify that it is about the biography of a character; however, the characters hide something; they are backwards and small, and the illustration paints drama and crime. The dialogues are projectile in the lines of the actress, there is dynamism and impact in the sentences, but pitiful in how to tell the story, that is, from the vision shared when the dialogues are simple and the dénouement messy.

Me encanta que el séptimo arte reúna un grupo de actores reconocidos y talentosos, lástima que en este film el brillo desvanece de los actores Josh Lucas, Adams Scott, que interpretaron personajes sin fuerza en comparación a la mujer más odiada. La actriz Melissa Leo, asume el papel de una mujer inteligente, fuerte y mal humorada que lucha por las malas decisiones que ha tomado. Madalyn Murray O'Hair es una activista sin filtros para disparar palabras de peso y con un tono alto censurado para expresar el concepto sobre la religión en el sistema escolar, construyendo un grupo social pequeño en algo desmedido; la actuación estrepitosa funde tantas emociones y cansancio que entiendo el odio hacia la mujer. Madalyn Murray O'Hair, mujer sin freno por defender los derechos civiles, celebra los errores de los demás y agradece los insultos, no hay manera de detenerla y su única debilidad es un ser querido; con esto aseguro que todos tienen un talón de Aquiles. La activista segura e impetuosa, posee conocimientos de la ley, estas cualidades son reforzadas por la oportunidad de la vida y lo que empieza como defensa, se transforma en doble moral, situación que me enerva de quienes "ayudan" a costa de lucro propio.

I love that the seventh art brings together a group of recognized and talented actors. Too bad that in this film, the brightness fades from Josh Lucas and Adams Scott, who played characters without strength compared to the most hated woman. Actress Melissa Leo takes on the role of a smart, strong, and moody woman struggling with the bad decisions she has made. Madalyn Murray O'Hair is an activist with no filters to fire off weighty words and a censored high pitch to express the concept of religion in the school system, building a small social group into something unconscionable. The crashing performance melds so many emotions and weariness that I understand the hatred for the woman. Madalyn Murray O'Hair, a woman unrestrained by standing up for civil rights, celebrates the mistakes of others and welcomes insults; there is no stopping her, and her only weakness is a loved one. With this, I assure everyone that everyone has an Achilles heel. The confident and impetuous activist possesses knowledge of the law, these qualities are reinforced by the opportunity of life, and what begins as defense becomes a double standard, a situation that makes me angry with those who "help" at the cost of their own profit.

¿Por qué debo de ver La mujer más odiada de Estados Unidos? Me gusta de la película, el movimiento activista que hace impacto en la sociedad, sembrada en los cimientos ideológicos impuestos por la misma; también me encantó la interpretación de la actriz y la manera de afectar a los demás y al propio espectador. Asimismo, el doble discurso de muchas organizaciones que pregonan libertad a través de personas modelos, quienes tiene una vida o familia extremadamente disfuncional. No me gustó la manera de abordar el tema y las actuaciones simples; realmente el final le faltó mayor impacto a la ironía y desaparición de la activista, me quedó un mal sabor, independientemente de la escena cruel. Sin embargo, vale la pena verla para mayor documentación sobre este movimiento en la época de los 90 de los Estados Unidos, porque una película siempre aporta conocimientos.

Why should I watch The Most Hated Woman in America? I like the film, the activist movement that makes an impact on society, planted in the ideological foundations imposed by society; I also loved the performance of the actress and the way she affects others and the viewer himself. Also, the double discourse of many organizations that proclaim freedom through model people, who have an extremely dysfunctional life or family. I didn't like the way the subject was approached and the simple performances; the ending really lacked more impact to the irony and disappearance of the activist, I was left with a bad taste, regardless of the cruel scene. However, it is worth watching for further documentation of this movement in the 1990s era of the United States because a film always provides insights.
