Predators (2010) Review - Turn into Prey
The year 2010 is considered one of the historical years for me in the world of cinema, as there were many films that were considered an established icon for many, which made this year very special, given the best films that were in this year, as we have the movie Inception, as well as 127 Hours, and the movie Shutter Island.
We also had a lot of action films, such as The Expendables, Iron Man 2, The Karate Kid, and other comedy films that were also very distinctive. Therefore, the year 2010 is considered one of the best years that presented a package of the best films that were competing as one of the best films in the world. the date.
But due to the popularity of these films and the many reviews that have been put forward about them, especially since most of the films I mentioned previously have been watched by many people over and over again, I wanted to choose another movie for you to talk about, which is the movie Predators, which many people may not like because of some of the things that I will mention to you in the review, but considering As for the details, we will find it more than wonderful and no less than the films I mentioned to you previously.
The story
Overcoming differences is necessary, especially when you are the prey. The events of the film revolve around a group of individuals who wake up to find themselves in a strange place where they have been chosen by a group of aliens to be their prey in their fighting game.
On a strange planet where the atmosphere is dark and exciting, these people find themselves in an unenviable situation, and from here begins the journey of excitement and suspense, as the film will present exciting scenes and more visual effects that will have a role in the events of the film and in moving from one place to another in order to survive.
Overall impression
Despite what I mentioned to you, I will tell you the reasons that did not make this film among the best films of 2010. The film had some flaws that many critics focused on including that the story is considered somewhat familiar, as the ending is almost very predictable and many events too.
Regarding the distribution of characters, this was the most prominent point for me. I blame the director for focusing only on some of the basic characters while leaving the other characters without any significant development. Likewise, the dialogues that took place between the characters did not have a sufficient plot to attract the viewer.
But in the end, for me, the movie is not that bad and gives us an exciting story, as I mentioned to you at the beginning, which makes us watch the movie in general well without focusing on the minute details that critics focus on.
