An Interesting Movie That Thought Me Life Lessons.

There is this popular saying which says "Knowledge is power". We could acquire knowledge in various ways which include television programs like reality shows or movies. Even though I'm not a fan of movies like that but I watched one movie recently which was quite interesting and full of suspense. I really learn a lot from the movie.

This movie is a drama series which is majorly shown on Showmax TV and the title of the movie is "Wura" which means "Gold". The movie was produced by Rogers Ofime. This drama series is loaded with wonderful cast which makes the movie much more real. This drama has both season 1 and 2. Although they are not yet done with the season 2 series.

The drama series shows how some people are so desperate to acquire wealth at the expense of other people's lives. The drama was about a woman named Wura who has a business that involves Gold mining. She is so accustomed to wealth that she can do anything all in the name to acquire wealth. She's so cunning and deceitful. Her mine was situated in a remote town named Iperindo and many of the community members do work for her. She maltreats her staff and most times gives them fake promises just to encourage them to work more for her.

Of all the staff in her mine, there was a faithful and dedicated man called Olusegun Kuti. He is a family man who has 3 children. Out of the 3 children, Two of the children were his biological children while the other one was adopted, the baby girl was found in the bush on his way to his farm then he decided to raise the child as his own.

One day while working on this farm he decided to wash his farm tools at a nearby river while doing this he came across a gold. As faithful and committed as he was, he decided to inform his boss and suggested to her that she develop the community in return. But because of greed, she ask him to show her the river, he innocently took her to the river and while at the river she killed the man and took the Gold from him.

This drama series is quite interesting because a lot of secrets began to reveal in each episodes. The funny part of the movie is that the child the man(Olusegun Kuti) raised as his own was actually her boss's (Wura) child but she did not know.

There are a lot of lessons learned in this drama series. One of the lessons I learned is contentment. Lack of contentment can lead a man to the drain. I also learned to always treat people right because what's so ever you do to others, you will get paid in return. And lastly, i learnt not to allow wealth and fame to consume me to the extent of doing bad things just to get wealthy at all cost without considering the repercussions.

I will encourage you to what this movie because it's so interesting. I have been following the drama series since last year but at some point this year i couldn't follow as usual because the episode are long and much but i do follow on facebook to read the recap of each episodes.

Thanks for reading.....

Finally, someone who has seen this series.

God, this movie will have you do nothing all day because you keep wanting more every single minute. There are so many lessons to learn from it also .

Sometimes we shouldn’t treat people badly because we feel they are nothing. You never know what role they will play in your life in future.

I was going go watch this series but the lengthy episodes scared me off it. And now that I've read the recap I won't be watching anymore.

One thing I've learnt is that a lot of people take the biblical quote, "...the violent taketh it by force" too literally. People do unprintable things just to get ahead in life.

Quite an interesting piece. I've always heard of the movie but your narratives have given me a vivid exposition to what Wura is about. Contentment truly is great gain
