Last Friday I wrote a publication in which I mention four movies of the 90's, among them one of the highest grossing films in the history of cinema, remembering it kept me thinking about what would be the top 10 of the highest grossing films, which logically led me to consult the web and I opened the first link I found.

So in this page that here I share with you, I left the following list, starting from lowest to highest

10.The Lion King (2019)

9.Jurassic World (2015)

8.Intensely 2 (2024)

Now, out of 10, I have seen eight, so I share my humble opinion of the reasons why these movies are in the top 10.

10. The Lion King (2019).

With a gross of $2.923 million, it's currently in the number 10 spot, I haven't seen this version, but if it lives up to what the 1994 version did, then excellent.

9. Jurassic World (2015)

Grossed 1.671 billion dollars. The new era of dinosaurs with new airs, after years of the events of Jurassic Park (saga that does not bore) we find that they have finally managed to put the park to work and is a success, until the return to play with genetics things get out of control, the attraction the dinosaurs and how the characters manage to escape and / or pay for their actions, good effects and see extinct species is undoubtedly the attraction.

8. Intense Mind 2 (2024)

This movie grossed $1.698 million, but not having seen it, I can't say anything about it. I know it's about emotions, but that's about it.

7. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

The end of the last Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland, which grossed 1.922 million dollars, the attraction of this movie is to bring the villains of all the Spider-Man movies and without a doubt to reunite the three actors who have played the role of the superhero, which for me was epic, as they share their sorrows and help each other to overcome them.

6. Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

This electrifying movie grossed $2.048 billion and is action from start to finish, it makes us trot sitting down and even makes us want to get into the movie and dish out some punches, but its bitter ending, left us empty and waiting for what was happening after the first defeat of the avengers, none other than at the hands of Thanos.

5. Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

One of the most beloved sagas by its fans, who never get tired of watching the movies, especially those in which George Lucas was in charge, it grossed 2. 068 million dollars, after years of waiting came this new stage in which we see the characters of episodes IV, V and VI in advanced ages, but no doubt, lacked flavor or rather the audacity of George Lucas in the matter, but by selling Lucasfilm and the Star Wars saga to Disney, it only remains to see what they do, but after the resounding failure of The Acolyte we will see what happens with the creative directors.

4. Titanic (1997)

I dare say that I don't think there is a person in the world who hasn't seen this blockbuster movie that grossed 2.257 million dollars. Its costumes, music, plot, as well as the way they decided to narrate what happened in this historic shipwreck still gives a lot to talk about.

3. Avatar: The Meaning of Water (2022)

For some it is boring, for me a way to show us another part of Pandora, it was logical that the inhabitants of Earth, a planet in agony wanted to return to inhabit this satellite, but now with enemies using avatar bodies and Jake having a family and tribe to protect, he tries to do it by hiding, but however this film managed to collect 2.320 million dollars, leaving us with some doubts that will only have answers in a third installment.

2. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

The end of the Avengers saga came to get us out of the thorn after the end of Avengers: Infinity War, everything happens, superheroes reappear, others die. The action does not fail, nor does it disappoint, with a touching ending in which the least expected character gives everything to save the earth, it is not tiring to watch and grossed the sum of 2,797 million dollars.

1. Avatar (2009)

In the top since its release, I know people who went to see it many, but many times, fascinated by the colors, effects and the plot of the film which collected 2.923 million dollars, Avatar presents us with the man after putting his planet in agony seeks to inhabit and consume the riches of other places, but one of his own opposes them along with the inhabitants of Pandora and manage to defeat them. Undoubtedly, a charming, creative film, which also uses its plot to criticize some of the customs of humans.

Thus ends my list of the Top 10 highest grossing movies, where I share my very personal opinion of the reasons why these movies succeeded. I would like to read your opinion on whether you would take any of them out to add others or if you consider that their success was due to other factors.

El viernes pasado redacté una publicación en ella, hago mención de cuatro películas de los 90, entre ellas una de las más taquilleras de la historia del cine, el recordarla me mantuvo pensando en cuál sería el top 10 de las películas más taquilleras, lo que lógicamente me llevo a consultar la web y abrí el primer enlace que encontré.

Asi en esta página que aquí les comparto, dejaba la siguiente lista, comenzando de menor a mayor

Ahora bien, de 10, he visto ocho, por lo que comparto mi humilde opinión de las razones por las que estas películas están en el top 10.

10. El Rey León (2019)

Con una recaudación de 2.923 millones de dólares, esta actualmente en el puesto 10, no he visto esta versión, pero sí da la talla como lo hizo la versión de 1994, pues excelente.

9. Jurassic World (2015)

Recaudación de 1.671 millones de dólares. La nueva era de los dinosaurios con nuevos aires, tras años de los sucesos de Parque Jurásico (saga que no aburre) nos encontramos con que por fin han logrado poner a funcionar el parque y es un éxito, hasta que al volver a jugar con la genética las cosas se salen de control, el atractivo los dinosaurios y como los personajes logran escapar y/o pagar por sus acciones, efectos buenos y ver especies extintas es sin lugar a dudas el atractivo.

8. Intensa Mente 2 (2024)

Esta película recaudó 1.698 millones de dólares, pero al no haberla visto, no puedo opinar nada al respecto. Sé que versa sobre las emociones, pero solo eso.

7. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

El final de la última trilogía de Spider-Man con Tom Holland, la cual recaudo 1.922 millones de dólares, de esta película el atractivo es el traer a los villanos de todas las películas de spider-man y sin duda el reunir a los tres actores que han interpretado el papel del superhéroe, lo que para mí fue épico, pues comparten sus penas y se ayudan a superarlos.

6. Vengadores: Infinity War (2018)

Esta electrizante película recaudó 2.048 millones de dólares y es acción de principio a fin, nos hace trotar sentados y hasta nos dan ganas de entrar en la película y repartir algunos golpes, pero su final amargo, nos dejó vacíos y a la espera de que ocurría tras la primera derrota de los vengadores, nada más y nada menos que a manos de Thanos.

5. Star Wars: El despertar de la fuerza (2015)

De las sagas más amadas por sus fans, quienes no nos cansamos de ver las películas sobre todo aquellas en las que estuvo al mando George Lucas, recaudo 2.068 millones de dólares, luego de años de espera llego esta nueva etapa en la que vemos a los personajes de los episodios IV, V y VI en edades avanzadas, pero sin duda, falto sabor o mejor dicho la osadía de George Lucas en el asunto, pero al vender Lucasfilm y la saga de Star Wars a Disney, solo le queda ver que hacen estos, pero tras el fracaso rotundo de The Acolyte veremos que ocurre con los directores creativos.

4. Titanic (1997)

Me atrevo a decir que no creo que exista una persona en el mundo, que no haya visto esta taquillera película que recaudó 2.257 millones de dólares. Su vestuario, música, trama, además de la forma en la que decidieron narrar lo ocurrido, en este histórico naufragio todavía da mucho de que hablar.

Para algunos es aburrida, para mí una forma de mostrarnos otra parte de Pandora, era lógico que los habitantes de la tierra, planeta en agonía desearan volver para habitar este satélite, pero ahora con enemigos usando cuerpos de avatar y Jake al tener una familia y tribu que proteger, intenta hacerlo escondiéndose, pero como sea esta película logró recaudar 2.320 millones de dólares, dejándonos con algunas dudas que solo tendrán respuestas en una tercera entrega.

2. Vengadores: Endgame (2019)

El final de la saga de los Vengadores vino a sacarnos la espina tras el final de Vengadores: Infinity War, pasa de todo, reaparecen superhéroes, otros mueren. La acción no falla, ni defrauda, con un final conmovedor en el que el personaje menos esperado da todo por salvar a la tierra, no cansa el verla y recaudó la suma de 2.797 millones de dólares.

1. Avatar (2009)

En el top desde su estreno, conozco personas que fueron a verla muchas, pero muchas veces, fascinados por los colores, efectos y la trama de la película la cual recaudo 2.923 millones de dólares, Avatar nos plantea con el hombre luego de poner a su planeta en agonía busca habitar y consumir las riquezas de otros lugares, pero uno de los suyos se les opone junto a los habitantes de Pandora y logran derrotarlos. Sin duda, una película encantadora, creativa, que además usa su trama para criticar algunas costumbres de los humanos.

Así termina mi lista del Top 10 de las películas más taquilleras, donde comparto mi opinión muy personal de las razones por las cuales estas películas triunfaron. Me gustaría leer su opinión de si sacarían alguna para agregar otras o de si consideran que su éxito se debió a otros factores.
