The most anticipated series in 2024/ Opinion [ENG-SPA]
We all have series that we become fans of, either because we saw their first season or because someone recommended it or we saw a trailer and it caught our attention and not to mention those based on books, so today I decided to dedicate this post to the most anticipated series in 2024.
I should clarify that some of them I have not seen, but I have heard and read good reviews, either from someone I know or thanks to this community, so here I go.
The Acolyte
I dedicated my last post to share my first impressions of this Disney+ series and I know it was one of the most anticipated releases for those of us who are Star Wars fans, as it takes us to explore how the Jedi order and the Republic was 100 years before the events of Revenge of the Sith, so even though all the chapters of its first season are not yet available we fans are there attentive to everything that is seen.
The House of the Dragon, Season 2
Undoubtedly, this was another expected premiere of the MAX platform and after the success of Game of Thrones and its first season, plus after seeing the trailer that promises great moments of action and above all to see more dragons. I must say that, having seen its first chapter this Sunday, I am satisfied and looking forward to the rest of the season, as it looks promising and very, very raw.
The Bridgertons, Season 3
This series is based on Julia Quinn's bestselling novels of the same title, set in the competitive and matchmaking world of London high society, each of its seasons, so far three, are based on one of these novels and is one of the hits of the Netflix platform, has been calling my attention for a while and I think I will give it a chance after hearing the excellent comments of some friends about the series, and reading some reviews in the community, besides the trailer I liked to see the costumes and scenery, on the other hand, of the performances that seem to fit the etiquette of the time.
The Boys, Season 4
This series available on Prime Video does not catch my attention, but you can tell that it is among the audience's favorites because they present a number of super people who are not at all as they are painted in other series or movies, here they are human beings with flaws and virtues, but with special powers.
Shogun
After finishing its first season on Disney+ this new version has us in love, I basically love that the Japanese characters speak in their language and see how they were given the task of making known in a more elaborate way the details of Japanese culture of the time, as the scenery and the spectacular costumes, without neglecting the masterful performance of Hiroyuki Sanada, who gives life to Lord Yoshii Toranaga one of the characters of the novel on which this series is based.
X-Men '97
Here, although we are talking about an animated series, of old date, from which in turn emerged the later Spin-offs, it was one of the animated series that many of us watched during childhood, but from what I have read this series grew for the audience who enjoyed it or the one who wants to see the animated version to enjoy it on Disney+.
The 3 Body Problem
This is among those that I have not seen, but also of which I have received good comments and more because it is based on a novel praised, among those responsible for bringing this to the screen are David Benioff and DB Weiss, the creative minds behind Game of Thrones, it is available on Netflix
Fallout
From this one I only saw scenes together with my husband, it's available on Prime Video, and I read something about it in a post by @namiks, I only know it's based on a video game that places its characters in different communities closed to the outside world after a nuclear war, that I understood, this originated a post-apocalyptic world where each community grew up with unique and typical isolation characteristics, so you see unique characters according to the shelter they led their lives in.
The Rings of Power, Season 2
This is one of the ones I'm looking forward to the most, as I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings and see how in this series they share with us how the rings were forged and the stories of some characters present later, both in The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy is something exciting for those of us who love fantasy films, this second season will premiere on Prime Video on August 29, 2024.
The Blood of Zeus, Season 2
This second season premiered recently on the Netflix platform and you have to be very attentive to understand why it begins, giving us a tour of some events that occurred in parallel to a battle of the first season, in addition to raise other conflicts and struggles of the gods and demigods with an ending that leaves questions and the desire for the third season of this animated series to arrive, it is something fascinating for lovers of Greek mythology.
In summary, for me these are the most anticipated series of 2024, perhaps there are others depending on tastes, so I would like to read your opinions and recommendations in the comments, finally, I can not fail to mention that I am also waiting for the premiere of the third season of The Wheel of Time, but everything seems to indicate that it will be in early 2025.
Todos tenemos series de las que nos volvemos fans, ya sea porque vimos su primera temporada o porque alguien la recomendó o vimos un tráiler y llamó la atención y ni hablar de las que están basadas en libros, así que hoy decidí dedicar esta publicación a las series más esperadas en 2024.
Debo aclarar que algunas de ellas no las he visto, pero he escuchado y leído buenas críticas, ya sea de algún conocido o gracias a esta comunidad, así que aquí voy.
The Acolyte
Dedique mi última publicación a compartir mis primeras impresiones de esta serie de Disney+ y sé que era de los estrenos más esperados para los que somos fanáticos de Star Wars, ya que nos lleva a explorar como era la orden Jedi y la República 100 años antes de los acontecimientos de La Venganza de los Sith, así que aunque todavía no están disponibles todos los capítulos de su primera temporada los fans estamos allí atentos a todo lo que se ve.
La casa del Dragón, 2ª temporada
Sin duda alguna, este era otro estreno esperado de la plataforma MAX y luego del éxito de Juego de Tronos y su primera temporada, además de que tras ver el tráiler que promete grandes momentos de acción y sobre todo ver más dragones. Debo decir que, al ver su primer capítulo este domingo, estoy satisfecha y esperando el resto de la temporada, pues se ve prometedora y muy, muy cruda.
Los Bridgerton, 3ª temporada
Esta serie está basada en las supervendidas novelas de Julia Quinn, del mismo título, ambientadas en el mundo competitivo y casamentero de la alta sociedad de Londres, cada una de sus temporadas, hasta ahora tres, se basan en una de estas novelas y es uno de los éxitos de la plataforma Netflix, tiene rato llamando mi atención y creo le daré una oportunidad tras escuchar los excelentes comentarios de algunas amigas acerca de la serie, y de leer algunos review en la comunidad, además de tráiler me ha gustado ver el vestuario y escenografía, por otra parte, de las actuaciones que parecen ajustarse a la etiqueta de la época.
The Boys, 4ª temporada
Esta serie disponible en Prime Video no llama mi atención, pero se nota que se encuentra entre las preferidas del público porque presentan una cantidad de superpersonas que para nada son como los pintan en otras series o películas, aquí son seres humanos con defectos y virtudes, pero con poderes especiales.

Tras ya terminar su primera temporada en Disney+ esta nueva versión nos tiene enamorados, a mí básicamente me encanta que los personajes japoneses hablen en su idioma y el ver como se dieron a la tarea de dar a conocer de una manera más trabajada los detalles de la cultura japonesa de la época, como la escenografía y el espectacular vestuario, sin dejar de lado la magistral actuación de Hiroyuki Sanada, quien da vida a Lord Yoshii Toranaga uno de los personajes de la novela en la que se basa esta serie.
X-Men '97
Aquí, aunque se hable de una serie animada, de vieja data, de la que a su vez surgieron los Spin-off posteriores, fue una de las series animadas que muchos vimos durante la infancia, pero por lo que he leído esta serie creció para que la audiencia que la disfruto o la que desea ver la versión animada la disfrute en Disney+
El problema de los 3 cuerpos
Esta se encuentra entre las que no he visto, pero también de las que he recibido buenos comentarios y más porque está basada en una novela elogiada, entre los responsables de llevar esto a la pantalla están David Benioff y DB Weiss, las mentes creativas detrás de Juego de Tronos, está disponible en Netflix
Fallout
De esta solo vi escenas junto a mi esposo, está disponible en Prime Video, y leí algo al respecto en una publicación de @namiks, solo sé que está basada en un video juego que ubica a sus personajes en diferentes comunidades cerradas al mundo exterior luego de una guerra nuclear, eso entendí, esto origino un mundo post-apocalíptico donde cada comunidad creció con características únicas y típicas de aislamiento, así que se ven personajes únicos de acuerdo al refugio en el que llevaron sus vidas.
Los Anillos de Poder, 2ª temporada
Esta es una de las que más espero, ya que soy fan del Señor de los Anillos y ver como en esta serie nos comparten como fueron forjados los anillos y las historias de algunos personajes presentes luego, tanto en El hobbit como en la trilogía del Señor de los Anillos es algo emocionante para los que amamos el cine de fantasía, esta segunda temporada se estrenara en Prime Video el 29 de agosto de 2024.
La sangre de Zeus, 2ª temporada
Esta segunda temporada se estrenó hace poco en la plataforma Netflix y hay que estar muy atento para comprender porque comienza, dándonos un recorrido de algunos eventos que ocurrían en paralelo a una batalla de la primera temporada, además de plantearnos otros conflictos y luchas de los dioses y semidioses con un final que deja interrogantes y el deseo de que llegue la tercera temporada de esta serie animada, es algo fascinante para los amantes de la mitología griega.
En resumen, para mí esta son las series más esperadas de 2024, tal vez existan otras dependiendo de los gustos, así que me gustaría leer sus opiniones y recomendaciones d en los comentarios, por último, no puedo dejar de mencionar que estoy esperando también el estreno de la tercera temporada de La Rueda del Tiempo, pero todo parece indicar que será a principios de 2025.

There are several of these series that catch my attention, I haven't seen any of them yet, but of all the ones mentioned here the one I'd like to see first is x-men 97, I've seen very good reviews of it. I don't have Disney+
Yo misma no he visto algunas de las que enumeré en la publicación y X-men 97 está entre ellas. Si estás en Venezuela te pudo recomendar un buen servicio para que tengas una suscripción de Disnay+ y ver esta y otras series.

Hola amiga, este año el mundo del cine viene con todo y muchas de esas producciones son de muy buena calidad y perfectas para pasar un rato agradable, como otras que las tengo pendientes para verlas y ver con que nos van a sorprender, así que la aventura a penas está comenzando.
